Remembrance Sunday is observed faithfully every year at the Limerick War Memorial by the members of the Limerick Branch. this is a PUBLIC EVENT and all are welcome.

The ceremony is conducted in the presence of The Mayor of Limerick and other public representatives. Service Veterans and Standards of:the following organisations are represented:

The Royal British Legion Republic of Ireland

The American Legion in Ireland (Fr. Duffy Post).

The Organisation of National Ex-Servicemen (Patrick Sarsfield Branch - ONE)

The Irish Naval Assocation

The Irish United Nations Veterans Association (IUNVA)

Irish United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL)

The honorary Association of The Royal Munster Fusiliers.

Poppies will be available on the day and all are invited to dedicate a poppy cross €5 and place at the foot of the War Memorial at the end of the ceremony. Following, a Mass of Remembrance at nearby St Michael's Church and all are welcome.
